[edit] Gameplay

Unlike tetris, this game sends the player the piece that he/she does not need the most rather than a random piece. Thus, it dramatically increases the difficulty of the game.

[edit] Reception

It was covered by slashdot, a popular computer and technology site.[2]

[edit] History

  • 2009-03: 0.43, a complete code rewrite, so it is not based on Peter Seidler's code anymore. Two modes: one with the next block preview (normal) and one without (harder). The license is GPLv3+
  • 2005: a Slashdot article about Bastet 0.41[2]
  • 0.41, new AI; less boring, but a bit easier
  • 0.37, first public release, under GPLv2(+?)
