David White (born 1980), also known as Dave or Sirp, is the lead developer of Battle for Wesnoth. He is currently involved in the Silver Tree project. Other (less complete)projects include darkchess960, and Wesciv.[1]

Dave White originates from Sydney, Australia[2] and now lives in California, USA and is working as a programmer.[3] He is also a father.
