Fortress is a strategy game. It is programmed in Java,[1] and it uses the JMonkeyEngine.[2] It was created by "Members of the freegame community".[3] It it licensed under the terms of the GPLv3.[3] It has not had a release as of February 24th, 2009. Charles Goodwin has stated that he "plans to make headway on this game in 2009".[4]
